FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Discovery Science Center's Brainiac Bowl was an exciting, ONE-OF-A-KIND event that has the town buzzing with excitement. The event was held at The Marriott in Fort Colllins on October 8. The Brainiac Bowl featured a down-home dinner buffet, a silent auction, and a spirited trivia challenge that was emceed by Channel 7's meteorologist, Mike Nelson. Corporate teams collaborated to test their knowledge of science, history, geography, culture, technology and more in an engaging and fun setting. This event was a great team-building opportunity for all adults young and old and was a great way to raise money in support of Discovery Science Center, Northern Colorado's only interactive non-profit science center. "Our goal was to have everyone 'Have Fun. Get Smarter' and based on the level of enthusiasm and excitement of the 192 participants in the room, we were more than successful!" commented Annette Geiselman, Executive Director of Discovery Science Center. $16,000 was raised to cover the expense of Discovery Science Center's interactive exhibits and programs.

Discovery Science Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides hands-on learning activities and 120 interactive exhibits to make learning fun for the entire family.
