LSI LOGIC presents the 26th Annual Colorado Run!

Come join in the fun with the 26th Annual Colorado Run sponsored by LSI Logic this Labor Day, Monday, September 5. There will be something for everyone in the family, with a 5k run or walk, a competitive 10k, a free kid's fun run, and a post-race expo featuring food, music, and Discovery Science Center! The free kid's fun run is the 4th event in the PVH Healthy Kids Running Series. Come with family or friends and sign up to compete as a Family, School, or Corporate Team. Discovery Center will be hosting some fun activities for the kids after the race that will remind everyone that you can "have fun and get smarter" as we start a new school year. The run benefits Discovery Center and the Poudre School District Foundation.

Last year 1,000 runners and walkers participated in the run! This year the 5k features a scenic new course that loops around the CSU Campus, starting and finishing at the Oval. The 10k is dubbed the 'Competitive 10k', and uses a criterion course of 4 laps around the Oval and out/back on University Avenue - it starts 45 minutes after the 5k, and is intended to provide great spectating for the 5k participants as part of their post-race activities. The prize structure will encourage most of the competitive local runners to participate in the 10k. Register online until September 3 on Active.com.
