Clowning Around with Bonzo the Clown and Science of the Circus

This special event will be held at Discovery Science Center on Friday, May 13, from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm. Come to Discovery Science Center on Friday, May 13th, to see Bonzo Crunch, a Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus clown. "Science of the Circus" teaches children about the circus and how it relates to science. During the hours between 10:00 am - 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm, Bonzo Crunch will demonstrate his circus skills as the science and physics interpretations of each skill are explained. Activities demonstrated range from juggling to stilt walking and balancing arts with a hands-on approach, allowing the kids to try their own circus skills.
