Walk Like An Egyptian At Discovery Science Center!

Explore what it might have been like to live, work and play in Egypt during the time of the pyramids. Our latest traveling exhibit, "Egypt: Puzzles and Mysteries" will be on display from January 13 to July 31, 2007. This thought-provoking exhibit combines modern-day science with the mysteries of ancient Egypt. Visitors can explore Egypt's geography and decipher hieroglyphics. Learn about mummification and how Egyptian engineers built the great pyramids. Try to solve the Riddle of the Sphinx and other ancient puzzles. Create a photo souvenir of yourself as a mummy, King Tut, Anubis or Cleopatra.
Artifacts from the Denver Museum of Nature and Science Egyptian collection will also be featured, including actual mummy linen and canopic jars.
